Safety for Halloween: How do you keep yourself safe with major occult holy-days?

Of utmost importance is that you surrender yourself as fully as you can to Jehovah-God. Ask for His covering and protection in all your ways. Speak aloud your surrender and your expectations of His work in you to save and redeem all of you.
Play Christian music, teaching, blessings, and the Word of God as often as you can (day and night if needed). Have an open Bible in prominent places around your home and sing scripture. Cleanse and pray through your home, anointing it with oil and reading the Bible out loud. Psalm 91 is a great one to read while anointing and blessing your doors, windows and other openings, inside and out. Ask Lord God to post His angels to guard the corners of your land/house etc.
The dark kingdom preys on your fears while the Prince of Peace brings love and faith.
I John 4:17-18 Message Bible: God is love. When we take up permanent residence in a life of love, we live in God and God lives in us. This way, love has the run of the house, becomes at home and mature in us, so that we’re free of worry on Judgment Day—our standing in the world is identical with Christ’s. There is no room in love for fear. Well-formed love banishes fear. Since fear is crippling, a fearful life—fear of death, fear of judgment—is one not yet fully formed in love.
Since God IS love, the more you focus on Him the less the enemy can get a grip on you. Confess any known sins and allow the atonement the True Lord Jesus made to cover all of you, known and unknown. Then let His love flow in and fill all those areas with His light and life. Walk in His light, since He is light (1 Jn 1:7, 9) and connect with others who love Jesus.
Listen to those inside as to what and who feels weird or unsafe. It may not make sense to you, but it is important to carefully take into account what they are saying. That does not mean you follow every fear, but listen first, then ask the Lord for His wisdom, and then bounce it off of a mature Christian. What feels safe or not, can easily be twisted by your trauma so that walking downtown at night might feel safe, but a wise person knows this is not true.

Obviously, it would not be wise to host a big party, watch scary movies, (for you or your children) go “trick or treating,” to open the door for “trick or treaters”, go to an unknown place or church, or any place you are unsure of, on Halloween. This holiday includes October 28- November 1 and also the same applies to Dec 22-25.
Ps 34:4 NIV: I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Lord-of-Hosts is your deliverer and Redeemer. He is waiting for you to call so He can answer you and free you from the chains of fear. Focus on Bible promises and thank Him in faith for what He is about to do to keep you safe during this season.
