Pop and Shake: Big things are happening out there right now
Categorised in: Wee's World
I especially want to talk with the really little ones today. You may be feeling really shaky and mixed up now. There are many really big things happening outside right now that you do not know about. Some other parts of you may be afraid, sad, confused or even be acting nasty to you because they are having all these bad feelings about what is happening.
Especially in summer, flavored drinks are yummy. We buy the flavored powder in a paper package. To make the drink, we have to add the powder in the package to water. We can watch the color of the powder streak down the water and land at the bottom of the container. We must shake it up or totally mix it to be really delicious to drink or to make popsicles. Now it is all the same color.
Do you like popcorn? I do. I think popcorn is a little magical. We pour the little brown popcorns into oil in the bottom of a pan, put on the lid, put the pan on the fire and magic..Pop………… ……………….Pop………..Pop …..Pop.. Pop Pop Pop Pop Pop Pop Pop Pop Pop Pop. WOW!! Smell that great aroma! When the popping sounds stop, it is ready to eat. We take off the lid and what do we see? The pan is full of oodles of white fluffy balls that seem to melt in your mouth.
Some of you may not even know what popcorn is, because all you know is the same things all the time. I am sorry for that. As your Original Person gets better, you can know everything they know. Wouldn’t that be SUPER? It will be like the popped popcorn or the mixed yummy drink, different but better.
It is a great time to hug onto Jesus and let Him be your safe place while it feels like you are popping or getting shaken into a different form or color. Jesus will let you know who to trust at last, someone safe to listen to your story and lead you to your Original Self. Then you go from the same always place to Now, and maybe even eat some popcorn.
Singing a song out loud or quietly inside your mind when you feel shaky will make you feel better. Martin Shaw and Walter J. Mathams wrote Jesus, Friend of Little Children.
Jesus, Friend of little children, Be a Friend to me.
Take my hand , and ever keep me , Close to Thee.
Bye bye for now,
Sandra
